The Reckoning is the Miss Piggy drag Glam had planned to do when they got better.
They did not get better. The shadow side of celebration of life. The acknowledgment of loss. The fury, the grief, the fury.
The Reckoning is a flood of feminine rage, divine and disgusting imprinted in fluid lava beneath the surface of the social, the surface of our bodies, the surface of the earth about to burst because she can't hold it in any longer.
The Reckoning is the and-now-what? aftermath ensuing in the moments post outburst.
It will never be the same. We cannot go back. We are broken open. What do we do now? With the gap, the wound, the space of healing- The Reckoning.
More on The Reckoning:
-leaves everyone alone with their grief
-divine feminine rage wail at losing a beloved
-the Miss Piggy Drag, Glam was going to do "when they got better."
-reckoning with the rage left behind after the sadness and necessary, not cute healing.
-the training wheels are off... audience in the room together but very alone in their experience... different that TT and TITTG.
-all same set elements in different formations (except the fabric Glam was buried with.)
Note on real estate aka my body... once my tattoo is done, both of these shows die. And the whole trilogy will be memory only.
